Marseille: Harit on target in Angers goal fest, 5-2 win in Ligue 1

Amine Harit scored Marseille’s fourth goal and Amine El Ouazzani netted from the penalty spot for Angers: Marseille won 5-2 at the Stade Raymond-Kopa on matchday 7 of Ligue 1.

Two Morocco internationals starred on Sunday 18 October 2026 in a goal-laden Angers-Marseille game, won 5-2 by the Phocaeans. Amine Harit, Marseille’s attacking midfielder, scored his side’s fourth goal in the 83rd minute, according to Le360 Sport and Olympique de Marseille.

At the other end, Angers’ Moroccan striker Amine El Ouazzani found the net from the penalty spot for the hosts’ second goal. Earlier in the match, Angers had taken the lead as early as the 14th minute through Lilian Raolisoa, the SCO defender, after a bizarre passage of play instigated by winger Amine Sbaï and a headed clearance from Marseille midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Harit puts the game beyond doubt late on

Marseille’s fourth goal was scored by Amine Harit in the 83rd minute. The Moroccan international attacking midfielder plays under Marseille head coach Bruno Genesio.

The goal came in a match where Marseille, behind after Angers’ opener, eventually made the difference and sealed the win in the final quarter of an hour.

El Ouazzani, the SCO penalty

Angers’ Moroccan striker converted a penalty to score his team’s second goal, according to Le360 Sport. The goal was not enough to prevent a Marseille victory.

Raolisoa’s 14th-minute goal came from a bizarre passage of play: after a run from Amine Sbaï, Geoffrey Kondogbia’s headed clearance fell to the Angers defender, who scored an unusual goal.

A second straight win for Marseille

With this 5-2 success, Olympique de Marseille have 9 points and a goal difference of +4, lifting them to 8th in the table, according to Le360 Sport and Eurosport. Bruno Genesio’s men make it two consecutive Ligue 1 wins, after their 2-0 victory at Troyes, and so erase the defeat to Olympiacos in the Europa League (0-1).

Angers SCO slip to 14th place with 7 points. Both teams will play matchday 8 of Ligue 1, scheduled for next weekend, according to Eurosport.
